Assam Rifles apprehended one
woman worker of outlawed militant outfit Kangleipak Communist Party (Noyon) group at Moreh town in Manipur's Chandel district, an AR press release said today.
The apprehended person, identified as Shamurailatpam Premia Devi (42), a nurse of profession of Bamon Leikai Thangapat in Manipur's Imphal East district, was arrested yesterday.
She carried two copies of demand letters of KCP (N) demanding extortion of Rs 3,00,000, the release said adding she has been handed over to lady police personnel of Moreh police station for further investigation.
