Infrastructure EPC firm KEC International Monday said it has bagged orders worth Rs 1,159 crore in its transmission and distribution (T&D) business in both the domestic and international markets.
It has bagged a contract from Power Grid Corporation for setting up of 132 kV transmission line package and associated substations in north eastern India, a release said.
In the overseas markets, the company has also secured an order for 225 kV double circuit overhead transmission line and associated substations in Mali and Senegal and a 132 kV transmission line and substations in Oceania, it added.
"With the third order win in Africa, we have further consolidated our presence in the Africa market. The order win in Oceania has expanded our footprint to a new geographical region and will enable us to further strengthen our international presence," said Vimal Kejriwal, managing director and chief executive officer, KEC International.
"We are confident that with these order wins, we will achieve the projected growth in our T&D business," he added.
The release also said the firm's subsidiary, SAE Towers, has received various orders in the Americas.
