Kejriwal and Sisodia called on the Dalai Lama in Delhi and their meeting went on for 30 minutes.
They said he was the "greatest humanitarian".
They said the meeting was "a dream come true and a blessing".
According to a release issued by the Delhi Government, the spiritual leader greeted and blessed Kejriwal and Sisodia over their landslide victory in the assembly polls here and also appreciated the AAP Government's stand on corruption.
Kejriwal told him that people were hopeless with the system and wanted corruption to be done away with.
"They saw an alternative in us and gave us a very decisive mandate. We gave a call to people to help us root out corruption and they reposed their full trust in us. We are working to do away with prevailing corruption in the system," the Chief Minister said.
The statement said several issues including peace, social fabric, harmony and social evils were also discussed during the meeting.
Sharing views on the state of affairs in several parts of the world, the release quoted the Dalai Lama saying he was quite concerned over violence and terrorism in several pockets of the world and these problems can be solved only through harmony and peaceful manner.
On the leader's concern over the prevailing social evils in the society worldwide, the Deputy CM said, "Education, especially school education, can help in doing away with such practices and we are working on it."
