Kejriwal will arrive in Varanasi on Tuesday and is expected to meet Swami Abhimukteshwaranand, a local religious leader with a considerable following in the temple city, and the city Qazi, Ghulam Nasir to seek their support for the election, a party spokesperson in Varanasi said today.
During his last trip to Varanasi last month, the AAP leader had visited Kasi Vishwanath temple and had also sought meeting with Mohammad Abdul Zafar Hussaini, the head of over 500-year old Shia mosque in Dara Nagar area, and Mufti Abdul Batin, the Imam of the Shahi Jama Masjid, who has a strong influence over the community.
