Drama troupes from Australia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and different states in India will be taking part in the festival, starting from February 9.
New Delhi-based National School of Drama (NSD) and State Information and Public Relations Department are jointly organising the event at the Tagore theatre here, a press release said.
The formal inauguration of the Bharat Rang Mahotsav will be held at the Tagore theatre on February 9 by Culture Affairs minister, K C Joseph.
Health minister V S Sivakumar, will preside over the function, it said, adding that veteran Malayalam actor Madhu will be the chief guest.
At least 80-odd dramas would be staged during the festival.
