The 27-year-old singer, who had checked into a rehab last year to seek help for her eating disorder, will join rapper Ludacris, Josh Groban and country singer Brad Paisley on the panel of the TV competition, reported Contactmusic.
The show will be on the lines of hit Israeli show.
"Stoked to be an expert on 'Rising Star' ABC with BradPaisley, Ludacris and Josh Groban," the singer tweeted.
The series will premiere on 22 June on ABC.
