Key accused in RSS worker's killing taken into custody

A key accused in the killing of an RSS worker here was taken into custody today, police said.
K Anoop (34), a member of the left-leaning Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), was nabbed nearthe bus stand here this morning, police said.
So far, five persons have been held in connection with the killing of Choorakad Biju, allegedly by leftist activists at Payyanur town in Kannur district on May 12. The district has witnessed a series of clashes between the ruling CPI(M) and RSS for the last one year.
Biju was an accused in the killing of CPI(M) activist C V Dhanraj in 2016.
