"The aim of present State Government is to provide qualitative education to the students especially to the girls," Sharma said in an official release after a review meeting of Higher Education Department presided over by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
While the State University would be set up in village Kakrola of Gurgaon, the Sanskrit college would be set up at Mata Mansa Devi Complex in Panchkula and would be run by Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board.
The work to commence law classes in government college Panchkula, affiliated by Kurukshetra University, is also underway, Sharma said, adding a university team had inspected the proposed site and submitted its report.
