Additional District Session Judge G S Bakshi held all six guilty who were present in the court. They were arrested immediately and lodged in the Amritsar Central Jail.
The court will announce the quantum of punishment on November eight.
The five doctors are former Government Medical College (Amritsar) Principal O P Mahajan, ex-Head of GMC Forensic Department Jagdish Gargi, S K Grover, H S Bhutani and Rajinder Singh.
The ex-cop held guilty is Suresh Kumar.
It was stated in the FIR that the boy was threatened at gunpoint after which he gave his consent to donate his kidney.
At that time, Mahajan was the Principal-cum-Chairman of the Kidney Transplant Authorisation Committee of the GMC and Jagdish Gargi a member of KTAC.
The prosecution said the doctors threw all medical norms to the wind as they were fully aware that the boy was a minor and was not willing to donate his kidney.
