KMC had renewed Saradha licences earlier this year

The Kolkata Municipal Corporation had renewed trade licences of 69 companies operating under the scam-ridden Saradha Group this year, Mayor Sovan Chatterjee said today.
"We had renewed the licences of 69 Saradha Group companies this year. But licences were given to them by the Left Front government," Chatterjee said.
He added that out of these 69 companies, 40 of them are registered under the same address in Diamond Harbour Road.
