The incident occurred outside the emergency exit gate of the metro station around 5.15 PM when the accused Pawan was seen scuffling with a street hawker.
A private security guard of the station informed the CISF personnel on duty about the incident, following which CISF sub inspector John Singh rushed to the spot along with a quick reaction team and a marshal.
An inebriated Pawan started hitting the CISF personnel when they tried to intervene in the matter. Meanwhile, Pawan's brother Ravi reached there and started scuffling with Singh.
The street hawker who reportedly sustained injury in the fight was not found on the spot when a PCR team reached there. No arrest has been made so far in this connection, said a senior police officer.
