: Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) inaugurated its centralised operations centre (COC) here on Thursday.
The state-of-the-art COC occupies approximately 20,000 sq feet on a single floor in a newly built office premises, which enables the bank to bring under one roof activities previously carried out across multiple locations.
It would also enable KVB create a centre of excellence for banking processes, a press release from the bank said.
KVB's presence has been substantially enhanced in the city, the release said.
In addition to this facility, KVB has its divisional office and 23 branches in Coimbatore, with the total employee strength expected to grow to approximately 400, making KVB a sizable quality employer here, it said.
Over the last couple of years, the bank has been centralising its operation, it added.
