Anirban Lahiri will be back at the Dean & Deluca Invitational after missing two straight cuts at the PLAYERS and the Byron Nelson.
Lahiri is looking to reverse his form and get back into the running for a spot on the Presidents Cup and also back into Majors.
Lahiri is due to tee up with Martin Laird of Scotland and Michael Kim of the US. Lahiri, who missed the Masters, quickly needs some good finishes to get into the US Open and British Open.
Jordan Spieth makes a title defense in his home state for the first time, joined by Masters champion Sergio Garcia in a lineup featuring eight of the top 30 in the world rankings.
Si Woo Kim, newly-crowned winner of THE PLAYERS, is set to tee it up for the first time since his triumph at TPC Sawgrass, while Phil Mickelson, the 1996 champion, returns to Colonial for the first time since 2010.
The Dean & Deluca Invitational is the last event on the Texas swing this season and it will be held on one of the PGA TOUR's most historic courses, the Colonial Country Club, which has been a regular stop since 1946.
Local star, Dallas' Jordan Spieth, is the defending champ this week and he comes off a missed cut in his hometown event, the AT&T Byron Nelson. He now has a chance to put his name next to Ben Hogan's in the tournament record book. Thus far, Hogan is the only player to have won this event in consecutive years; in fact, he did it two different times.
One of the groups to watch will be Si Woo Kim, who is making his first start since winning THE PLAYERS Championship two weeks ago.
He was originally scheduled to play last week's AT&T Byron Nelson but was forced to withdraw with a sore back.
Sergio Garcia won at Colonial in 2001 in his first start in this event and is playing Colonial for the first time since 2012 and another star will be young Jon Rahm who is making his DEAN & DELUCA debut.
Billy Horschel, winner last week, is back alongside Paul Casey and Brandt Snedeker. Spieth goes out with Pat Perez and Zach Johnson.
