Land Records Office Assistant Superintendent, Ved Kumar Pandya, had asked for bribe from Kapil Baheti, who required a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for constructing a house, Lokayukta's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) V S Parihar said.
The accused had taken Rs 1,500 from the victim earlier, who approached the police, he said.
He was today caught red-handed while taking Rs 3,500 from the complainant, the DSP said.
A case would be registered under Prevention of Corruption Act, he said, adding further investigation is on.
