Music baron-film producer Bhushan Kumar today paid a tribute to his father the late Gulshan Kumar by creating a special song 'Mere Papa'.
Bhushan has made the video 'Mere Papa' starring his sisters Tulsi and Khushali. Recently, Tulsi had sung 'Mere papa' at an event and the video was launched following positive response from the audience.
"I was my papa's favourite. 'Mere Papa' is my tribute to him. It is not a song, but a feeling. It's a special gift for my papa. He is there with us...His blessings are with us," Tulsi told reporters here at the event.
The video was launched by Anil Kapoor and his actress daughter Sonam.
When asked if she has written an essay on her father in school, Sonam says, "I don't think I have written anything about him. I am like my dad. I want to be like him...My personality is like him."
The "Neerja" actress feels happy that his parents have always been supportive.
"My mom wanted me to finish my education first. My dad was keen on me acting. But he (Anil Kapoor) was scared of my mom. But both dad and mom encouraged me," Sonam said.
However, Anil interrupted her saying, "I am scared of all girls...Women. They are supreme!"
Talking about the song, Anil said, "I feel that love is more important more than fame and money. It's a wonderful song written and sung from the heart. The song is so nice that I can still hear it in the background," he said.
