Members of the Central Action Committee (CAC) today stalled the Valsad-Haridwar train at the city railway station and raised slogans demanding a separate bench of the High Court.
The lawyers took off the agitation after one-and-half- hour as senior administrative and police officials arrived the spot and pacified them.
"Even though, the Central and state governments give assurances of a separate HC bench in western UP, nothing has been done so far in this regard," president, CAC, Anil Jangla alleged, adding that they would continue with their agitation till their demand is fulfilled.
