The Golden Globe-winning actor was arriving at the festival in California when Vitalii Sediu suddenly rushed towards him, hugged him in the waist and buried his face in DiCaprio's crotch, reported Ace Showbiz.
The 39-year-old actor managed to keep a smile on his face while trying to free himself from the prankster. Security was able to seize Sediu after several seconds, but no arrest was made.
Sediu, who who poses as a journalist at red carpet events, pulled a similar prank on Bradley Cooper, Adele and Will Smith in the past.
