Leopard carcass found in Similipal National Park

A carcass of a male leopard was today found in Similipal National Park here in Mayurbhanj district.
The age of the dead leopard was in the range of 10 to 11 years, a forest officer said.
The carcass was found near Chirpada village under Karanjia Forest Division.
"There is no injury mark or gun shot sign on the body of the leopard. The cause of its death could be assertained only after getting postmortem report," said Prasanna Kumar Behera, the divisional forest officer, Karanjia division.
