Leopard found dead in Uttarakhand

The carcass of the five-year-old leopard was noticed by locals in a field, forest department officer Nishant Verma said here.

In the preliminary examination, injuries were found in its several body parts suggesting that the death may not be natural, he said.

The postmortem report is awaited to ascertain the exact cause of death, he said.
