Leopardess killed after being hit by vehicle

A leopardess was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Badkot range of Dehradun forest division.
The big cat was crossing the highway when it was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Sunday morning killing it on the spot, forest officials said here today.
The incident occurred hardly 2 kms from Laltappar police station.
The post mortem report said the leopardess succumbed to grievous injuries sustained on its neck and head, they said.
