As soon the House sat for the day, the Leader of Opposition Surjya Kanta Mishra told Speaker Biman Banerjee that the questions submitted by him relating to the Home Department had not been included in the list of questions for oral answers today.
He was joined by other Left Front members who shouted slogans and trooped down to the Well in protest.
Dissatisfied with the Speaker's reply, Left Front members walked out of the House during Question Hour.
In absence of the Left Front MLAs, Banerjee who also holds the Home portfolio, told the House that the Left had no guts to face her.
"Whenever I come to the House, they leave by making one excuse or the other," she said accusing them (the Left parties) of not doing anything positive for the people.
