North Bihar today received moderate rainfall at many places with West Champaran and Jamui districts recording heavy rainfall since Friday.
Moderate rainfall occurred at a few places in south Bihar except south west part which witnessed light rain at one or two places, MeT department said in a release.
The MeT department has forecast a generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunders in Patna and Gaya while Purnea is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower.
Patna, which witnessed a cloudy sky, today recorded a maximum temperature of 32.5 degrees Celsius, Gaya and Purnea recorded maximum temperatures of 33.5 degrees Celsius and 33.7 degrees Celsius respectively while Bhagalpur registered the highest temperature at 35 degrees Celsius among the major cities.
The maximum humidity level in the morning ranged between 83 to 86 per cent in various major cities while the maximum humidity level in evening was recorded between 72 to 94 per cent in these cities.
