Light rains dip temperature in Bihar

Light rain lowered temperature in Patna and other parts of Bihar today while humidity stayed at higher levels.
Patna recorded maximum temperature of 31.4 degrees Celsius, the Met office bulletin said here.
Temperature in Gaya was 31.8 degrees Celsius while it was 32.4 degrees Celsius in Bhagalpur and 28.7 degrees Celsius in Purnea, the bulletin added.
Humidity in Patna was recorded at 90 per cent today.
Humidity in temple town of Gaya was 80 per cent while it was 82 per cent in Bhagalpur and 94 per cent in Purnea, the bulletin said.
The state Weather office has forecast generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle during the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Central Flood Control statement said all the embankments were safe in Bihar and rivers were flowing before flood danger level.
