Some parts of Himachal Pradesh have been receiving light to moderate rainfall since Sunday evening, the Meteorological (MeT) department said on Monday.
Dharamshala received 58 mm rainfall since 5.30 pm on Sunday, followed by Amb (30 mm), Paonta Sahib (18 mm), Jhandutta (15 mm) and Ghamroor (12 mm), Shimla MeT Centre Director Manmohan Singh said.
During the same period, Guler recorded 11 mm rainfall, followed by Gaggal (9 mm), Naina Devi (7 mm) Sundernagar (3 mm) and Mandi (2 mm), he said.
The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Bhuntar at 33.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest minimum was recorded in Keylong at 8.3 degrees Celsius, Singh added.
The MeT department has forecast rain in some parts of the state till September 22.
