Light to moderate rains lash several places in UP

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers occurred at few places over western Uttar Pradesh and isolated pockets in the eastern part of the state in the last 24 hours.
According to the MeT department, chief amount of rainfall was recorded in Jhansi, Lalitpur 4cms-each, Ramsanehighat, Mahroni 3 cms-each, Banda, Chanderdeep ghat 2 cms-each, Handia, Balrampur, Lucknow, Domariaganj, Bhatpurwa ghat, Sultanpur and Mathura 1 cms-each.
The weather department predicted that rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over east UP at a few places over western parts of the state in the next 24 hours.
