The two hitmakers began discussions about recording a duet together last year but nothing definite has been put in place yet, reported Contactmusic.
"She's on tour now and she's got to get used to it. She has to push through. I'm going to give her a year and at the end of this year I'm going to go and attack her in her home. She has a nice house somewhere outside Los Angeles so I'm going to stand outside the gate and say Adele, it's me. Hello, it's me!" he jokingly said at Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards in London.
"Our first encounter was at the Grammys, she is very personable. Four minutes into talking we were like old school friends," he added.
Lionel was at the ceremony to collect Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Award and is currently on his latest arena tour of the UK.
