Acting on a tip-off, a truck was stopped at a check post under the jurisdiction of Amer police station here.
"Upon search, we found 1,200 cartons ofliquor worth Rs 60 lakhbeing illegally transported to Gujarat," DCP Crime Vikas Pathak said.
Amer police has arrested Pinku Kumar hailing from Jammu and booked him the under sections of Excise Act, Pathak added.
