Coochbehar recorded 34.6 mm rainfall in 24 hours till this morning, while in Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri the precipitation was 16.2 mm and 9.2 mm respectively.
In Gangetic West Bengal, Bankura and Burdwan recorded 11.0 mm and 14.2 mm rainfall respectively, while in other places there was little or no rain since yesterday, according to the MeT department.
Bankura recorded the highest day temperature in the state today at 34 degrees Celsius, while in Kolkata the mercury rose to 33.6 degrees Celsius.
