Liverpool Football Club (LFC)'s academy in India would visit six cities to scout talent and then train them.
LFC has set up an international football academy in partnership with DSK Shivajians, a Pune-based club.
The talent scouting camps, scheduled in March and April, would be held in Aizawl, Shillong, Goa, Mumbai, Delhi and Pune.
The first scouting trip will take place in Aizawl from March 17-20. The talent hunt will conclude in Pune with finalists from each regional round coming down to the western Maharashtra city for the final round of screening, the academy said in a release here today.
The players would be short-listed in the u-17 and u-19 categories.
