Local Cong members join SAD

Prominent among those who joined SAD were Ravinder Pal Singh, Kulwant Singh, Surinder Kaur, Vijay Rani and Baldev Raj Vinayak.

Welcoming them into the party-fold, Youth Akali Dal chief and state minister Bikram Singh Majithia said that their presence would help SAD, especially in Amritsar.

People in Punjab have appreciated the performance of SAD-BJP government, he said adding, more and more people are reflecting faith in the plans and policies of the state government.
