Lok Adalats disposed of 2662 cases

Lok Adalats, conducted by Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) in all the six district courts here today, disposed of 2662 cases pertaining to civil, electricity, matrimonial, traffic, criminal compoundable offences and others.
Besides 13 cases pertaining to Motor Accident Claims in which a compensation amount of Rs 32.57 lakh was awarded, 188 criminal cases were disposed of by way of plea bargaining.
48 cases pertaining to banks at pre-litigative stage were also disposed of.
