The romantic comedy was earlier slated to release on September 5 but now it will bow in theatres on September 19.
YRF cited a need for "more time" to implement their unique marketing idea for the film behind the delay.
The film centres around Gulrez 'Gullu', played by Parineeti, a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men and Tariq 'Taru' Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor), a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs.
