Paramjit Kaur, a student of class XII and her lover Ranjit Singh (22), who was already married and had a daughter, jumped before a train yesterday.
The Government Railway Police found their bodies on the track and later sent these for post-mortem examination.
Police investigations revealed that the two were having an affair for past some time. Ranjit was not happy with his marriage, the investigations further revealed.
