Lt Gen Subrata Saha meets Guv N N Vohra

General Officer Commanding of Srinagar-based Chinar Corps, Lt Gen Subrata Saha today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and informed him about the current security situation in the Valley.
"Lt Gen Saha called on Vohra at Raj Bhavan here today. He informed the Governor about the security scenario," an official spokesman said.
He said the army commander particularly briefed the Governor about the ongoing encounter in Kupwara in north Kashmir.
The operation, which started on Sunday, and is still continuing, has so far resulted in the death of three soldiers and five militants along with injuries to an army jawan.
