The 30-year-old actor, who appeared in "Fast & Furious 3: Tokyo Drift", will become a regular in the series and appear in the next three films, Deadline reported.
The forthcoming movie reunites Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson.
Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou and Tyrese Gibson are also part of the film.
Diesel recently shared a new image from the set. No plot details have been revealed for the project yet, but it will be set in Los Angeles.
James Wan will direct "Fast & Furious 7", which will be released in the US on July 11, 2014 and the UK on July 25, 2014.
