The 'invincible' series Home UPS was a tribute to the 'invincible spirit' of the Master Blaster, who is also the brand ambassador of Luminous, a company release said today.
It would be available on request and customers have to place the order online, it said adding the company would donate Rs 200 to the 'Spreading Happiness' initiative for each unit sold.
Tendulkar and Schneider Electric India, which holds 74 per cent stake in Luminous, have joined hands for 'Spreading Happiness' to provide access to rural electrification by installing solar home lighting systems for the benefit of over 25,000 villagers in the country.
The initiative has already been rolled out as a pilot project in Nashik in Maharashtra.
