Maghendhran shunted back as DGP training

Senior IPS officer K P Maghendhran, posted as Director General of Police (Elections) last month, was today reverted to his old posting of DGP (Training).
A Home Department communique issued by the state government said, "K P Maghendhran, DGP (Elections) is transferred and posted as DGP Training Chennai in the existing vacancy."
"The post of DGP (Elections) Tamil Nadu, held by him is discontinued with immediate effect," it said.
Maghendran was posted as DGP-Elections on April 30 and he was given overall superintendence of all election related duties involving police.
