Heavy rain is lashing these areas of central Maharashtra, which had experienced a near-dry monsoon last year.
"We are keeping a close watch & monitoring the flood situation in Latur and Nanded districts and taking every possible effort to bring relief," the CM tweeted.
"As per the reports, 12 trapped people need help in Renapur, 10 in Ahmadpur and 8 in Nanded. Villagers of Jalkot Taluka's 2 villages are evacuated.
The CM also commended the Nanded collector for rescue work.
"Commendable efforts by Nanded Collector & his team as they rescue 24 people from Loha taluka (6 were on trees & rest were stranded in houses)," he said.
