Maha: Man hangs self on police station premises

A 25-year-old man allegedly hanged himself on the premises of Parli City police station in the district this evening, police claimed.
Tukaram Sambhaji Jogdand, a resident of Nagapur village of Parli tehsil, had been picked up by police for questioning in connection with cases of motorcycle theft in the town.
While an FIR was being lodged against him, he was found to have hanged himself from a tree on the premises, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Kakasaheb Dole.
Superintendent of Police Naveenchandra Reddy said that a probe was on.
