Maha to provide 100 pc funds for village development: Savara

Maharashtra government has decided to provide 100 per cent funds for village development under various tribal schemes, which will be directly alloted to the gram panchayats, state minister Vishnu Savara said today.
"We have decided to provide 100 per cent funds for village development under various tribal schemes of both the Centre and the state government. The funds will be directly alloted to the gram panchayats," he was quoted as saying in an official release.
The Tribal Development Minister was speaking after inaugurating a cultivation programme at Shingdari village in the district.
