In reply to Baroda's 362 all out, Maharashtra rode on opener Harshad Khadiwale's 168 and skipper Rohit Motwani's 91 to declare their first innings at 449 for eight.

Resuming at the overnight score of 376 for seven, Maharashtra added another 73 runs for the loss of one wicket in 16.3 overs today before declaring their first innings.

Shrikant Mundhe played a good hand down the order with an unbeaten 46, while number 10 batsman Nikit Dhumal was not out on 27.

Baroda came up with a much better batting effort in their second innings to finish at 231 for one in 70.2 overs.

With the fate of the match already decided, opener Saurabh Wakaskar and Abhimanyu Chauhan utilised the opportunity to the fullest and scored unbeaten centuries.

While Wakaskar scored 100 off 219 balls with the help of 14 boundaries, Chauhan made 109 off 188 deliveries and laced his innings with nine fours and two sixes.

Mundhe scalped the lone Baroda wicket to fall in the day in the form of Anupam Gupta.

While Maharashtra pocked three points from the match, Baroda had to return home with just a point.

Brief Scores:

Baroda: 362 & 231 for one in 70.2 overs (Abhimanyu Chauhan 109, Saurabh Wakaskar 100; Shrikant Mundhe 1/50).
