The jail authorities forwarded the reports received from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) which opined that Jagriti was having stone in her gall bladder and she has only one kidney.
The report was submitted in pursuance to the court's order asking the Medical Superintendent of AIIMS to conduct a detailed medical examination of Jagriti who is in judicial custody and has sought interim bail on health grounds.
Jagriti had, in her plea seeking interim bail, said that she was suffering from gall bladder stone and she needed to undergo surgery for her ailment due to her deteriorating medical condition.
Her counsel P K Dubey had earlier argued in the court that Jagriti wanted to have a second opinion about the surgery and she should be granted interim bail so that she could get herself treated properly.
The police had chargesheeted Jagriti for various offences punishable under the IPC, including sections 302 (murder), 307 (attempt to murder), 344 (illegal confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 201 (destruction of evidence).
Both the accused were arrested on November 5 last year in connection with the death of their 35-year-old maid Rakhi Bhadra, a resident of West Bengal.
Bhadra's body, with injury marks on her legs, chest and arms, was recovered from Dhananjay's South Avenue residence here on the evening of November 4 last year.
