Raju Khan alias Farid Khan was arrested while he was trying to escape from a police team that had arrived there after receiving intelligence inputs, Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Jitendra Rana said.
Khan was accused of killing four fishermen, belonging to SC, when they were guarding a water body to check theft of fish at a village in Paliganj area of rural Patna on December 15 last year.
"He had been hiding since the incident and our teams were continuously working to nab him. He has confessed his involvement in the killing of the four persons. He has also told about his accomplices and we are making efforts to arrest them as well," Rana said.
