allegedly beaten to death at Dahanibar village in Odisha's Jajpur district over a property issue, police said today.
The deceased has been identified as Kusadhwaja Sahu of the same village.
Police said when Sahu was ploughing his agricultural field with a tractor yesterday, a group of people of the village barged into the land under his possession, picked up a quarrel with Sahu and asked him to stay away from the land.
When Sahu refused, the group members thrashed him with sticks and other weapons.
Sahu sustained severe injuries and was rushed to community health centre at Madhuban where he died, police said.
