Man booked for misbehaving with married woman

A man has been booked for allegedly misbehaving with a married woman here on the pretext of giving her a lift, police said today.
As per the complaint filed by the woman, the accused offered her a lift when she was waiting for a vehicle to visit her husband in Palwal, they said.
The accused told the victim that he was heading to the same destination, police said.
Moments after the woman got inside his car, the accused stopped the vehicle and started misbehaving with her, they said.
Two bike-born men who happened to be passing the area rescued the woman, police said, adding that the accused fled from the spot after threatening her.

A case has been registered against the accused and investigation is on, they added.
