The deceased has been identified as Safeer Hussain and the injured as Khursheed Ahmed, police said.
The injured has been hospitalised and a case registered in this regard, they said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Nasir Ahmed Wani has given financial assistance of Rs 20,000 to the family of deceased and Rs five thousand to the injured.
The district administration has also given financial aid of Rs 10,000 to the family of one Haja Begum, wife of Abdul Kabir resident of loyal Bela, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances.
