"Subhash Patel (34), a resident of Vapi, was summoned for questioning last evening by Vapi GIDC police station in connection with the murder of one businessman Mukesh Patel. However, after he was put in the lockup, he hanged himself by tying a cloth from window," a police officer said.
"His body has been sent to Surat Civil Hospital for post-mortem", the officer added.
