According to police, the incident happened yesterday when Ravi, a daily labourer who was living separately and had been demanding his share in his ancestral property, was called by his father Ombir and his younger brother Dharmendra to their house here.
"They had an argument over the issue following which Ravi was hacked to death and his hands, legs and head chopped off by his father and brother.
Following which, the police rushed to the spot and doused the flames and took the half-burnt body in its custody and sent it for post-mortem, he added.
A case was registered on the complaint of Sunita and the matter is being probed, the officer said.
