"On the basis of call details, when the husband was interrogated, he confessed to have committed the crime. The accused was in a relationship with another woman and the wife objected to it," Station House Officer (SHO), Indergarh police station Srikrishan Gadwal said.
A scuffle erupted between the couple on May 5 following which Shalendra Sharma allegedly hacked his wife Kamna Sharma (26) to death and fled from the spot, he said.
The accused was arrested yesterday and will be produced before the magistrate for seeking remand today, he further said.
