"I am making a thriller film with Rensil. It's a completely original story. I loved the idea. Rensil is a good writer. He is still working on it. It's too early to talk about the film," Omung told PTI.
The project will go on floors after Omung wraps his next film which is based on the life of Sarabjit Singh, the slain Indian prisoner.
Sarabjit was murdered in high-security at Kot Lakhpat jail of Lahore in Pakistan in May 2013.
"I will mostly start this project after Sarabjit. It is too early to say if it will happen this year or not," said Omung, who made his directorial debut with the Priyanka Chopra-starrer sports drama.
Besides this, Omung has other story ideas like on World War II and another sports biopic.
